This committee employs the most up-to-date computer mapping techniques to identify important, unprotected natural lands in the state. Land mapping provides valuable information that will help preserve our Green Infrastructure by linking or connecting land through a system of corridors or connectors or by saving lands through targeting acquisitions and easements. Mapping will assist in the development of Green Infrastructure strategies that will be incorporated into state and local planning and investments.
