LEGAL NOTICE

TITLE V SYNTHETIC MINOR PERMIT APPLICATIONS

Notice is hereby given that Polymer Technologies, Inc. has submitted an application, pursuant to 7 DE Admin. Code 1102, Section 2.1, 11.2.9, and 12.3 for a Paint Spray Booth at 420 Corporate Boulevard, Newark, Delaware.

Polymer Technology, Inc. requests a limit on the volume of coating applied. This limit is necessary to restrict Polymer Technology, Inc. potential to emit air pollutants, and the limit will be enforceable by the EPA and the state. Total estimated emissions from the facility are 0.01 ton per year of PM, 4.86 tons per year of VOC, 2.2 tons per year of Toluene, and 0.4 ton per year of Methyl Isobutyl Ketone.

The application, the "draft" permit (Permit: APC-2013/0057-CONSTRUCTION (VOC RACT) (SM)), all materials that the applicant has submitted (other than those granted confidential treatment under DNREC rules), and a copy or summary of other materials, if any, considered in preparing the "draft" permit may be inspected at the office of the Division of Air Quality, Blue Hen Corporate Center, 655 S. Bay Road, Suite 5 N, Dover, DE 19901. A public hearing concerning the permitting action will not be held unless the Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control receives a request for such hearing within thirty (30) days from the date of this notice, ending March 12, 2013. A request for a hearing shall be in writing and must show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
