7 DE Admin. Code 1102 NATURAL MINOR PERMIT APPLICATIONS
Notice has been given that:
Bayhealth Medical Center, Inc. requests a permit to construct four (4) new boilers at their Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus facility located at 100 Wellness Way, Milford. Each boiler is rated at 11.81 MMBTU per hour and will combust natural gas primarily with ultra-low Sulfur diesel fuel oil as backup. The boilers will be permitted to emit: 23.32 TPY of NOx; 47.28 TPY of CO; 0.32 TPY of SOx; 4.76 TPY of PM10; and 1.12 TPY of VOC by Permit# (APC-2018/0019-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS) (GACT) (MNSR); APC-2018/0020-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS) (GACT) (MNSR); APC-2018/0021-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS) (GACT) (MNSR); and APC-2018/0022-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS) (GACT) (MNSR).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending November 13, 2017. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
