Allocation Permits

Indian Riverview Marina, Inc. has requested an irrigation allocation for a proposed irrigation well.  The requested daily withdrawal for the well is 504,000 gallons per day.  The well will be located north of Dagsboro in Sussex County, near the intersection of Train Lane and Dagsboro Road.  Tax Map Parcel 2-33-11.00-0003.00.

D.C. Farms, Inc. has requested an irrigation allocation for a proposed irrigation well.  The requested daily withdrawal for the well is 1,152,000 gallons per day.  The well will be located north of Seaford in Sussex County, near the intersection of Atlanta and Ross Station Roads.  Tax Map Parcel 5-31-07.00-0017.01.

Alternative Method of Compliance

Christian Grant has applied for an Alternative Method of Compliance under Section 12.0 of The Delaware Regulations Governing the Construction and Use of Wells to construct a Public well to serve a delicatessen.  The property is located on 1219 Nottingham Road, Newark DE, 19711. Tax map parcel 09-013.00-004.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
