Subaqueous Lands Permit Application

Winding Creek Village POA (234-24.00-103.00) – To construct a 3 by 15 foot long gangway, 6 by 20 foot long floating dock and a 6 by 36 foot long pier in a man-made lagoon, tributary to Guinea Creek adjacent to the intersection of Creek Drive and Deer Trail Road in Winding Creek Village, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE

New Castle County Conservation District-Hunter’s Ridge Homeowners Association (0803610227) – To widen an unnamed tributary to 20 feet wide by 90 feet long to allow for the natural path of the stream to be restored. To install one (1) root wad/log vane within the tributary to reduce erosion along the stream banks and to install  132 linear feet of rip-rap consisting of 32.6 cubic yards for bank stabilization and the installation of  two (2) stilling basins within the unnamed tributary. Lastly, to remove existing outlet structures within the unnamed tributary and associated stormwater ponds and to regrade an existing farm pond to promote positive drainage and a stormwater pond from an elevation of 161 feet to 159 feet within the Hunter’s Ridge subdivision along Polly Drummond Hill Road, approximately two miles north of the City of Newark, New Castle County, DE

Nanticoke Shores, LLC (234-24.00-35.00) – To construct a 4 by 115 foot long wetland walkway, 6 by 67 foot long pier, 8 by 24 foot long dock, a 6 by 12 foot long floating kayak dock and 2 stand-alone mooring pilings in Wilson Creek, tributary to Rehoboth Bay at the Rehoboth Shores campground adjacent to Bay Breeze Lane in Millsboro, Sussex County, DE

Jane and Timothy Tribbitt (1-34-12.00-321.04)-To renew a lease to maintain a 5 by 78 foot long pier, a 6 by 26 foot long dock, two (2) PWC lifts and two boat lifts each with 4 associated pilings in Whites Creek at 6 Hickman Avenue, Ocean View, Sussex County, DE
Carl Hassaj (234-35.05-138.01) – To construct a 4 by 230 foot long pier, 6 by 25 foot long dock, a boatlift with 4 associated pilings and 4 stand-alone mooring pilings in the Indian River at 33288 Mercer Avenue, Oak Orchard, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE

Chad Clark (132-6.00-40.01) – To amend an existing structure by constructing an additional 4 by 6 foot long section of pier, a 6 by 40 foot long dock, a boatlift with 4 associated pilings, (2) 5 by 14 foot long floating PWC docks and 1 stand-alone mooring piling in the Nanticoke River at 26792 River Road in Seaford, Sussex County, DE

Steven Sareyka (234-17.12-25.00) – To construct a boatlift with 4 associated pilings and (2), 1.5 by 20 foot long catwalks in Hopkins Prong at 29 Pinewater Drive, Pinewater Farm, Harbeson, Sussex County, DE

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
