LEGAL NOTICE

Allocation Permits

Chris Fox has requested an irrigation allocation for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal for the well would be 504,000 gallons per day. The well will be located southeast of Milford in Sussex County, near the intersection of Slaughter Beach and Rutt Rds. Tax parcel 2-30-8.00-4.00.

DMC Farms Inc. has requested an irrigation allocation for one proposed and one existing irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal for the wells would be 1,152,000 gallons per day. The wells will be located southwest of Laurel in Sussex County, near the intersection of Ellis Grove Rd and Sharptown Rd. Tax parcel 4-32-10.00-11.02.

Chad Pries has requested an irrigation allocation for two proposed irrigation wells. The maximum daily withdrawal for the wells would be 792,000 gallons per day. The wells will be located southwest of Frederica in Kent County, near the intersection of Paradise Alley and Killens Pond Rd. Tax parcel MD00-150.00-1-6.00.001.

Chris Magee has requested an irrigation allocation for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal for the well would be 1,224,000 gallons per day. The well will be located southwest of Frankford in Sussex County, near the intersection of Pepper and Gum Rds. Tax parcel 5-33-4.00-28.00.

Collins Acres Farms, LLC has requested an irrigation allocation for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal for the well would be 1,440,000 gallons per day. The well will be located southwest of Millsboro in Sussex County, near the intersection of Revel and Wiley Branch Rds. Tax parcel 2-33-9.00-48.00.

Clyde Betts and Son, Inc. has requested an irrigation allocation for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal for the well would be 720,000 gallons per day. The well will be located northeast of Milton in Sussex County, near the intersection of Williams Farm and Reynolds Rds. Tax parcel 2-35-7.00-161.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by February 18, 2019, at 4:30 p.m.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
