Wastewater Facilities Construction Permit Applications
The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Baylis Estates Investments, LLC of Bridgeville, Delaware, to construct wastewater facilities, including a gravity system, one pump station with dual pumps and a force main, to serve Baylis Estates, located on the east side of Mt. Joy Road (County Road 297), approximately 2,000 feet north of John J. Williams Highway (Delaware Route 24), Oak Orchard Sanitary Sewer District, Indian River Hundred, Sussex County, Delaware. The forcemain will be installed from the pump station, located within Baylis Estates, run southwest along Baylis Avenue and connect into an existing force main along Mount Joy Road.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before February 20, 2019. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
