PUBLIC NOTICE

Consistency Determinations have been submitted to the Federally approved Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following:

Bay Point Maintenance Dredging, Millsboro -
The Bay Point Road North Side Canal homeowners have proposed maintenance dredging of the entrance of the Winding Creek Village artificial lagoon and the Herring Creek access channel in Rehoboth Bay, Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware.  The project involves mechanically dredging approximately 490 cubic yards of accumulated sediment to a depth of -4 feet MLW to improve navigation.  The material will be disposed of in the inner, deeper end of the artificial lagoon to enhance tidal flushing and water quality.
