LEGAL NOTICE
DNREC - Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section

Subaqueous Lands Permit Applications
 
1.  Good-Will Fire Company (Tax Parcel # 2101800010) - To install a 10 foot by 12 foot galvanized metal grate at the end of an existing boat ramp in the Delaware River at 200 South Street, Battery Park, New Castle, New Castle County, DE

2.  Shawn’s Hideway (Tax Parcel # 2-34-17-166) To replace an existing 4 foot by 54 foot pier, a 4 foot by 108 foot pier, two 4 foot by 120 foot piers, a 4 foot by 162 foot long dock, and 63 piling, remove an 11 foot by 24 foot dock, and construct thirty 2 foot by 20 foot catwalks and a 4 foot by 20 foot dock, in Hopkins Prong, at 24373 Blue Blvd. Shawn’ Park LLC, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE.
 
3.  Cape Shores Home Owners Association  - (Tax Parcel # 3-35-5.00-68) To repair 92 piling on the Cape Shores pier in the Delaware Bay near Cape Shore Drive, Lewes, Sussex County, DE.
 
4.  Patrick Francher (Tax Parcel # 3-34-1.00-89.00) To construct 100 linear feet of rip rap in Red Mill Pond at 31370 Point Circle, Lewes, Sussex County, DE.
 
5.  Briggs 2, LLC (Tax Parcel # 2-33-7-10)  To construct a 5 foot by 23.5 foot dock addition with two 5 foot by 30 foot finger piers attached to an existing 5 foot by 20 foot dock and 4 foot by 75 foot pier in Pepper Creek at the Piney Creek Subdivision on Piney Neck Road across from Bunting Road, Dagsboro, Sussex County, DE.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice.  Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department's consideration.   If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request is deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the project's probable impact.
