Advisory Council on Recreational Fishing Funding
to Meet April 21 in Lewes
The Advisory Council on Recreational Fishing Funding will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21 in the Division of Soil and Water Conservation building next to the new Lewes boat ramp at the western end of Pilottown Road in Lewes.
The agenda will include the following items:
- Update on 2008 fishing license revenue
- Status of recently completed and ongoing projects including Lewes Boat Ramp, Faulkner’s Pier at Bowers Beach, Mulberry Landing on Assawoman Wildlife Area, Laurel Boat Ramp, Cape Henlopen Pier repairs, Augustine Boat Ramp dredging and breakwater
- Other projects to be pursued in 2009 including Cedar Creek access area, Bowers Beach bulkhead, Phillips Landing, Scotton Landing, Garrison Lake, Port Mahon dock
- Recurring maintenance needs, including mud removal at all tidal boat ramps, Rosedale Beach boat ramp and dredging of boating channel, and parking lot repairs and repaving.
