Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries meeting set for Feb. 17

The Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries will meet at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17 at the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control auditorium, Richardson and Robbins Building, 89 Kings Hwy., Dover.

The agenda will include the following:

• Summary of board meetings from recent Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission conference

• Proposed summer flounder regulations for 2010

• Update on Delaware’s winter tautog regulations

• Impact of open loop cooling on Delaware's aquatic resources

• Spot baitfish production - letter of support for proposal from Tidal Finfish Advisory Council

• Request from a member of the public to comment on Delaware River and Bay main channel deepening

• Agenda items for March 17 meeting
