Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries to Meet Feb. 20 in Dover

 

The Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control auditorium, Richardson and Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover.

 

The agenda will include the following items:

• Update on biological issues related to liquid natural gas proposal

• Update on previous Public Service Enterprise Group (Salem Nuclear Plant) settlement

• Status of new Recreational Fishing Funding Advisory Council

• Update on tautog and river herring regulatory procedures

• Brief updates on items of interest from the recent Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission meeting, including river herring, striped bass, tautog, weakfish, summer flounder, American eel

• Hearing schedule for March – sharks, flounder, shellfish

• Agenda items for March 19 meeting
