Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries to Meet Oct. 15 in Dover
The Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control auditorium, Richardson and Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover.
The agenda will include the following items:
- Subcommittee report on reef sites 3 and 4 conflict resolution
- Update on initiatives regarding reef special management zones in ocean
- Update on flounder stock assessment and regulatory outlook for 2009
- Changes in tautog regulations in 2009
- Proposed changes to river herring plan and summary of recent legislative and regulatory outlook for 2009
- Update on repairs to Augustine boat ramp, Faulkner’s Pier in Bowers Beach
- Reminder about Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Council (ASMFC) annual meeting this month in Rehoboth Beach
- Agenda and date for November meeting
