Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries to Meet Sept. 17 in Dover 

            The Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17 in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control auditorium, Richardson and Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover.

            The agenda will include the following items:

• Update on FIN number regulation                               
• Update on slot limit proposals for striped bass in the Delaware River and Bay
  
• Pending regulatory requirements for coastal sharks
  
• Possible solutions to issues with commercial pots on Delaware Bay artificial reef sites
  
• Date for Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Council (ASMFC) hearings on American eel and spiny dogfish
  
• Short update on status of new Lewes boat ramp
  
• Announcement of ASMFC annual meeting in October
  
• Agenda for next meeting Oct. 15
