Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries to meet Nov. 18 in Dover
The Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control auditorium, Richardson and Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover.
The agenda will include the following items:
- NOAA closure of recreational black sea bass fishery
- Updates from Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission summer and fall meetings and public hearings on striped bass, weakfish, shad
- Revision to winter flounder regulation
- Legislative initiative for artificial reefs in state waters
- Update on joint New Jersey-Delaware black drum plan
- Proposed weakfish regulations
- Agenda for next meeting, Dec. 16
