Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries to meet Oct. 20 in Dover
DOVER (Oct. 15, 2010) – The Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control auditorium, Richardson and Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover.
The agenda will include the following items:
- Proposed ruling on Atlantic sturgeon by National Marine Fisheries Service
- Fisheries updates:
- Striped bass landings (spring gill net)/upcoming Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission vote on possible commercial quota increase
- Summer flounder recreational landings estimate
- Black sea bass season closure
- Spiny dogfish commercial quota allocations
- Juvenile weakfish index for 2010
- Invasive species
- Regulations for 2010-2011
