Brandywine Creek State Park Announces 20th Annual Haunted Trail
WILMINGTON (Oct. 20, 2011) – Brandywine Creek State Park will be hosting its 20th Annual Haunted Trail on Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22, at the park from 7 until 10 p.m. both nights.
This is Brandywine Creek’s final Haunted Trail. For 20 years, staff and volunteers have been scaring visitors, and they promise that this year will be no exception. As visitors approach Demon’s Gate they will hear the screams of those who entered before. The trail winds through a dark forest filled with live actors, terrifying surprises and a challenging maze.
Horrifying creatures and a gathering of the dead and undead are part of the experience, which is recommended for visitors12 years or older. The cost is $10 per person. Park entry fees will not be charged during the event. T-shirt and food vendors will be on site.
Brandywine Creek State Park is located three miles north of Wilmington at the intersection of Delaware Routes 100 and 92. The entrance is on Adams Dam Road
