Community Safety Fair to Be Held
on April 18 at Cape Henlopen State Park
LEWES, Del. – Delaware State Parks and the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension Program have partnered to present a Community Safety Fair at Cape Henlopen State Park on from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, April 18.
Local and state law enforcement agencies, local fire departments and community safety experts will be on hand to present demonstrations and activities relating to water safety, boating safety, pedestrian safety and traffic safety.
There will be interactive activities including a bike rodeo and an impaired driving demonstration, as well as a police search dog demonstration. The events will take place at the main beach bath house. This is a free event; however, park entrance fees will be in effect.
Cape Henlopen State Park is located on Route 9 near the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal in Lewes, Delaware. More information is available by contacting Cpl.
