The DART Mid-County Community Yard Waste Site near Bear will be closed Monday, Feb. 16 through Thursday, Feb. 26 for maintenance activities and will reopen 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27. The site is located in the southwest corner of the intersection of U.S. Route 13 and Route 72 near Bear.

The site is filled to capacity with yard waste and will be closed so a maintenance crew can bring in equipment to grind the waste into mulch.
