DNREC announces Aug. 7 informational workshop for
community water quality improvement projects
DOVER (July 9, 2013) – The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s Division of Watershed Stewardship will hold an informational workshop for its Community Water Quality Improvement Grant from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 7 at the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve, St. Jones Center for Estuarine Studies, 818 Kitts Hummock Rd., Dover.

The Community Water Quality Improvement Grant (CWQIG) program is designed to assist municipalities, government agencies, and non-profit organizations with implementing projects or programs in Delaware to improve water quality in designated impaired watersheds consistent with specific plans developed for watershed improvements.
Eligible entities are Delaware state or municipal governments, agencies or programs, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, community organizations, and/or homeowner’s associations in the state.
