DNREC now accepting notices-of-intent for wastewater funding
DOVER (Jan. 10, 2010) – The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s Financial Assistance Branch is now accepting Notices-of-Intent (NOIs) for wastewater project needs and Wastewater Facility Planning Matching Grant applications. NOIs and planning matching grant applications can be found online at Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund and must be received by DNREC by Jan. 31, 2012.
Delaware municipalities, private wastewater utilities, industrial operations with wastewater treatment facilities and interested organizations are encouraged to submit project Notice-of-Intent applications in preparation for the FY 2012 Project Priority List and Intended Use Plan. These documents will be used as the statewide plan for prioritizing and funding wastewater project needs through Delaware’s Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund (WPCRF).
Wastewater Facility Planning Matching Grants assist municipal and county wastewater utilities to prepare wastewater projects for funding through the WPCRF and can also be used for general wastewater planning.
For questions regarding the grant program or the applications, please contact Greg Pope or Terry Deputy at (302) 739-9941.
