DNREC postpones Water Quality Standards and TMDL hearings until April 29
DOVER (Feb. 26, 2014) – In response to preliminary feedback from the US Environmental Protection Agency, DNREC has postponed Water Quality Standards and Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) public hearings scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27, until April 29.
Additional time until the hearings are held will enable the Department to include clarifications in the supporting documents and change some regulatory language necessary to get EPA approvals. DNREC will make the revised documents and new proposed amendments to the regulations available for public review in April before the hearings are held.
Both hearings have been rescheduled for 5 p.m. April 29, in the DNREC auditorium at the Richardson & Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
