Delaware State Parks Summer Camps
filling up fast

DOVER (June 5, 2014) There are only a limited number of spaces still available in Delaware State Parks summer day camps throughout the state.  State park day camps offer families safe, supervised educational and recreational opportunities for children during summer vacation.  Camps also promote healthy lifestyles by getting children outdoors to enjoy nature.

Half-day camps for 4 to 6-year-olds, which include various nature themes, are offered, as well as full-day camps for 6 to 17-year-olds. Some parks this year will offer Traveling Camps which will give kids the opportunity to experience multiple parks and adventures.  Many camps offer before and after care.

Summer day camp sizes are limited in order to keep counselor-to-camper ratios small.  At the same time, the knowledgeable staff, variety of subjects and the small size make these camps very popular.  Information about dates, fees and registration is available at or from the individual parks listed below.
