Delaware Clean Water Advisory Council to meet Dec. 2

The Delaware Clean Water Advisory Council (CWAC) will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2 in Conference Room 220 at the Kent County Administrative Complex, 555 South Bay Road, Dover.

The Council’s agenda includes the following items:

·         Subcommittee reports on wastewater, surface water management, loan applications and finance

·         FY2010 federal Clean Water State Revolving Fund appropriation and capitalization grant

·         Proposed Sussex County/City of Rehoboth Beach wastewater project workshop

·         Use of non-federal administrative funds for small research grants (($10k to $20k), and CWAC workshop, meetings, expenses

·         Identifying potential sites in Delaware for slow rate land application of wastewater

·         Proposed environmental justice communities mapping project

The agenda will also include a public comment period.
