Delaware Clean Water Advisory Council to meet Oct. 20

DOVER (Oct. 12, 2010) – The Delaware Clean Water Advisory Council (CWAC) will hold a meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at the Kent County Administrative Complex, Room 220, 555 South Bay Road, Dover.

The agenda includes:

• Clean Water Advisory Council updates: 100th meeting of the CWAC; Environmental Impact Statement scoping meeting for Rehoboth Beach Wastewater Disposal Options; University of Delaware Land Application Study; Second FY2010 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Notice of Intent project solicitation; Oct. 28 workshop on statewide wastewater facilities assessment.

• Administrators’ reports on: Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) project status update; CWSRF financial reports; CWSRF cash flow model; new CWSRF Project Priority List (PPL) criteria development update.

• Subcommittee reports on wastewater, surface water, public outreach, forestland conservation, and finance

• Sewer district growth vs. CWSRF subsidies
