Delaware Seashore State Park to host Ecology Boat Tour on July 2
REHOBOTH BEACH - Individuals participating in the Delaware State Park Estuarine Ecology Pontoon Boat Tour will perform water quality tests, collect and identify plants and animals, and learn the role that humans play in the ecology of coastal waterways.
The two-hour pontoon tour from 10 a.m. until noon on Thursday, July 2 explores Delaware’s Inland Bays and allows participants to join in a hands-on scientific investigation to find out how these waterways are threatened.
Seating is limited and interested parties are strongly encouraged to pre-register by calling 302-227-6991. The tour cost is $18 per person. The pontoon boat departs from the dock at the Indian River Marina in Rehoboth.
