Delaware State Parks to improve Campground Reservation System
Delaware’s Division of Parks and Recreation announced planned improvements to its online and telephone Campground Reservation System. Beginning Feb. 17, the improved reservations website and call center will feature new, more user-friendly upgrades.
In order to implement the improvements, the system will be temporarily unavailable beginning Feb. 3. The year-round campgrounds, cabins and cottages will remain open during this period. Campgrounds will accept walk-up customers through self- registration, and cabins and cottages may be reserved by contacting the individual parks.
The improved Campground Reservation System will reopen on Feb. 17 at 10 a.m., and contact information will remain unchanged. After that time, telephone reservations may be made by calling 1-877-98-PARKS (1-877-987-2757), and online reservations may be made at www.reserveworld.com.
Year-round campgrounds are located at Killens Pond State Park in Felton and Lums Pond State Park in Bear. Year-round cabins are available at Killens Pond, and the cottages at the Indian River Marina in Rehoboth are available all year.
