Dover man charged with weapons violations

DOVER (Jan. 5, 2011) – DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents on Jan. 4 arrested a Dover man on charges of weapons violations.

Randall D. Samples, age 49, of Dover, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a firearm/ammunition by a person prohibited. A shotgun and ammunition were seized as evidence.

Samples pled not guilty to the weapons charges in Justice of the Peace Court No. 7 in Dover and was released on $5,000 unsecured bond pending trial in Superior Court. He was also wanted on a warrant out of Family Court.
