Fall Migration Bird Walks offered at Cape Henlopen State Park
LEWES (Sept. 16, 2014) – Park naturalists at Cape Henlopen State Park will guide visitors in explorations of the park’s birding hot spots and search for birds during their fall migration. The program meets at 8 a.m. every Tuesday through Nov. 11. Beginning birders are welcome.
Participants may bring binoculars or borrow a pair available at the park. This free program meets at the Seaside Nature Center. Information and required registration are available at 302-645-6852.
The Seaside Nature Center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the Borrow-A-Bike program is available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. Park entrance fees are in effect.
