Fantasy Trail Returns to Cape Henlopen State Park
LEWES (Oct. 24, 2012) – The 24th Annual Children’s Fantasy Trail will be held at the Cape Henlopen State Park Nature Center on the weekend of Oct. 26-28. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes and trick-or-treat with their favorite storybook characters along the jack-o-lantern lined trail. The trail will be open 6 – 8.30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 6 – 7.30 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to the trail will be $5 per person for children and adults.
After the trail, families and children can enjoy the entertainment under the tent, including magicians, sing-alongs, jugglers and more. The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park will be selling hot drinks and snacks.
Volunteers are needed to carve pumpkins, assist with costumes and dress up to bring the characters to life.
