Fish and Wildlife Agents Arrest New Castle Men Near Georgetown on Firearm Violations
On Saturday afternoon, Nov. 15, Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Agents arrested two New Castle men near Redden State Forest in Georgetown.
Ralph C. Delaria, age 42, of 33 Meadow Road, Christina Acres, New Castle, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited; possessing, purchasing, owning or controlling a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited due to prior conviction of use, possession or sale of drugs; and possession of marijuana.
Ronald M. Foster, age 50, of 28 Meadow Road, Glasgow Pines, New Castle, was charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited; possessing, purchasing, owning or controlling a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited due to prior conviction of use, possession or sale of drugs.
A 12-gauge Mossberg shotgun and ammunition were seized as evidence.
Both men were taken to Justice of the Peace Court No. 3 in Georgetown, where Delaria was released on $10,250 unsecured bond and Foster was released on $10,000 unsecured bond, pending trial.
