Frankford man fined for shooting antlered deer out-of-season
GEORGETOWN (July 17, 2015) – DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers arrested a Frankford man earlier this week, following an investigation into antlered white-tailed deer being shot out of season.
Michael T. Hyson Jr., 30, was charged July 15 with one count of possession of unlawfully taken antlered deer and six counts of deer tagging violations – failure to attach tag to antlered deer, failure to retain tag on antlered deer, failure to retain tag on antlerless deer and three counts of failure to attach tag on antlerless deer. He pled guilty to one count of possession of unlawfully taken antlered deer in Justice of the Peace Court 3 in Georgetown. Hyson was fined $1,245, including court costs and had his Delaware hunting privileges revoked for two years.
