Friends of White Clay Creek Host Historical Presentation at Fall Meeting
Newark, Del. – The Friends of White Clay Creek State Park present, “Millers, Miners and American Indian Farmers along White Clay Creek—History in White Clay Creek State Park,” an historical presentation by Dr. Cara Lee Blume on Monday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Deerfield Golf and Tennis Club in Newark, Del.
For 25 years, Dr. Blume has researched the history of White Clay Creek State Park, focusing on the people who lived there and their relationship with the land.
