Garrisons Lake Golf Club Open House Rescheduled and Other Delaware State Park Programs Rescheduled

Dover, DE -  Due to the forecast of severe weather, Delaware State Parks has announced that the Garrisons Lake Golf Club Open House scheduled for Saturday will be moved to Sunday, September 7 from 2 until 6 p.m. at the course located off of Route 13 in Smyrna, Delaware. 

Currently, programs in Brandywine Creek State Park, Trap Pond State Park, Fort Delaware State Park, and Delaware Seashore State Park and the Indian River Life-Saving Station have been cancelled on Saturday.  No plans to reschedule them have been made at this time. 

Forecasted high winds and strong currents at Cape Henlopen State Park, have forced the cancelation of all Fish Hawk Paddling programs scheduled for Saturday.  Decisions regarding programs on Sunday will be made as the storm progresses.
