Hearing Set for August 12 on CDB Property LLC Permit Application to Construct a Road Crossing and Make Minor Stream Modifications on the Proposed Goddard School Property near Hockessin

DNREC’s Division of Water Resources, Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section will hold a public hearing 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 12 on the permit application filed by CDB Property, LLC to construct a road crossing and make minor stream modifications to a tributary of Mill Creek on the proposed Goddard School property near Hockessin. The hearing will be held at the Hockessin Memorial Hall, Route 41 and Yorklyn Road in Hockessin.

CDB Property, LLC owns the proposed Goddard School property located at 520 Valley Road, Hockessin. The company filed a permit application to install two utility lines and construct a road crossing using one 63 foot long, 36-inch diameter pipe and two 54 foot long, 24-inch diameter pipes on the property and construct a 6 foot by 18 foot plunge pool using 320 square feet of stone riprap in an unnamed tributary of Mill Creek located on the property.

The application and supporting documents can be inspected 8:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday at DNREC’s offices located at 89 Kings Highway, Dover or 715 Grantham Lane, New Castle. For more information or to schedule an appointment to inspect the documents, call 302-739-9943.
