Hearing Set for July 31 on Proposed Revision to the State Implementation Plan for Air Quality
DOVER, Del. – DNREC’s Air Quality Management Section will hold a public hearing 6 p.m., Thursday, July 31 at the Priscilla Building conference room, 156 S. State Street, Dover, on the proposed revision to the State Implementation Plan (SIP) for air quality.
The proposed revision updates air quality regulations under the SIP to a uniform style in accordance with the Delaware Administrative Code, “Manual for Drafting Regulations (March 2006).” The updates include administrative and non-substantive changes and corrections of errors that do not alter the regulatory aspects of the air regulations.
The proposed SIP revision and updated air quality regulations can be viewed on DNREC’s website: http://www.awm.delaware.gov/Info/Regs/Pages/AQMPlansRegs.aspx under “Proposed Plans and Regulations: Air Quality Regulation Recodification Project.” The documents are also available for inspection 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Air Quality Management Offices located at 156 S. State Street, Dover and 715 Grantham Lane, New Castle.
