                        Hearing Set for March 24 on Proposed Amendments
                                           to Delaware Hazardous Waste Regulations

DNREC’s Solid and Hazardous Waste Branch will hold a public hearing 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 on proposed amendments to the Delaware Hazardous Waste Regulations. The meeting will be held at DNREC’s auditorium, Richardson and Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover.

The proposed amendments include minor corrections to the regulations that will align the state’s hazardous waste management program with U.S. EPA requirements.

The proposed amendments can be found on DNREC's website,  http://www.dnrec.delaware.gov/Info/Pages/Rules.aspx, or can be viewed 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday at the following DNREC locations: 89 Kings Highway, Dover; 715 Grantham Lane, New Castle; 391 Lukens Drive, New Castle; and 408 N. DuPont Highway, Georgetown.

Written comments can also be submitted by 4:30 p.m. March 31, either by email to William.BDavis@state.de.us or mailed to DNREC, Division of Air and Waste Management, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901, Attn: Bill Davis.
