Hearing Set for March 6 on Keith Properties’ Proposal to Construct Community Deck, Personal Dock and Boat Lift in Fenwick Shoals

DNREC’s Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section will hold a public hearing beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 6 on the Keith Properties’ proposal to construct a community deck, personal dock and boat lift in Fenwick Shoals. The hearing will be held at the Villalon Hall, Town of Fenwick, 800 Coastal Highway in Fenwick Island.

The purpose of the hearing is to solicit views on Keith Properties’ proposal to construct a 16 foot by 16 foot community deck with a 3 foot by 12 foot gangway to a 4 foot by 3 foot floating dock between Lots 22 and 23, in a tidal drainage ditch that connects with a lagoon adjacent to Roy Creek, and a 6 foot by 90 foot dock and boat lift in a lagoon adjacent to Roy Creek lying along  lots 26, 27, and 28, Fenwick Shoal Blvd., Fenwick Island.

The application and supporting documents can be obtained by contacting DNREC, Division of Water Resources, Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section, 89 Kings Highway, Dover between 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Interested parties may submit comments in writing prior to the public hearing and/or comments may be presented either orally or in writing at the hearing. Comments should be made to:
