Killens Pond State Park offers wreath-making class
FELTON (Nov. 21, 2011) – A special holiday wreath-making class will be held at Killens Pond State Park on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. until noon at the park’s Nature Center, 5025 Killens Pond Road in Felton.
Master Gardener Wendy Aycoth will show participants how to create beautiful holiday decorations using resources provided by nature. The program costs $12 per person and includes all necessary materials; however, attendees are encouraged to bring personal ornaments and gardening gloves. Pre-registration is required by Nov. 30, and may be made by calling 302-284-4299.
Killens Pond State Park is centrally located 13 miles south of Dover and one mile from Route 13. The park features fishing, boating, a sports complex, year-round camping, and more.
