Killens Pond hosts 4th Annual Spring Fling on April 6
FELTON (March 26, 2013) – Killens Pond State Park will host its annual Spring Fling from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. This family-friendly program will feature hayrides, vendors, live demonstrations, games, activities and a mega-inflatable. Music will be provided from noon to 2 p.m. by Joe Baione. The Spring Fling is free and open to the public; however, park entry fees are in effect.
The Spring Fling is held in the park’s campground off Paradise Alley Road in Felton. Directions and information about attendance or vendor opportunities are available by calling 302-284-4299. The rain date is Saturday, April 13.
While at the park, families will enjoy a visit to the new Killens Pond Nature Center, featuring interactive learning and live animal exhibits. Killens Pond State Park is located at 5025 Killens Pond Road near Felton, just off Route 13.
