Killens Pond Annual Fall Festival rescheduled for Oct. 31
FELTON – Due to impending inclement weather, the staff at Killens Pond State Park has rescheduled the Annual Fall Festival for Saturday, Oct. 31. Originally scheduled for Oct. 17, the Fall Festival will be celebrated on Halloween from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the park on Killens Pond Road in Felton.
Activities for the day include hayrides, inflatables, food and drink, arts and crafts, live performances, a petting zoo, a straw maze, demonstrations and much more.
Children and parents alike will enjoy building their own scarecrow. For just $5 per person, the Friends of Killens Pond provide straw, twine, bamboo for poles, clothes and hats. Gloves, scarves or any kind of decoration will make each scarecrow unique.
The Fall Festival is a fun day of festivities and celebration of the autumn season perfect for the entire family. Admission to the festival is $3 per person for residents and non-residents, and includes the park entrance fee.
The public is invited to call 302-284-4299 or visit www.destateparks.com for more information about other exciting Halloween programs at Killens Pond. Costumes are welcome.
