Killens Pond Celebrates Independence Day with Free Concert Featuring the 287th Army Band

The public is invited to Killens Pond State Park to join in a special Independence Day celebration at a free concert in the park on Friday, July 3 at 6:30 p.m.  The 287th Army Band will perform a variety of music, including patriotic songs and marches.

Families and individuals are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert, which will be held in the park’s Sports Complex Area.  Park entry fees are in effect. 

Killens Pond State Park is centrally located in Felton, Del., 13 miles south of Dover; one mile from Route 13 or eight miles from Route 113.  The park entrance is on Killens Pond Road.
