Killens Pond State Park announces hours for the end of 2010 Season

Killens Pond Water Park will be open until Labor Day weekend with a reduced schedule due to staffing reductions.  From now until Aug. 29, the Water Park is open Monday through Thursday from noon until 6 p.m., and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The Water Park will be closed from Monday, Aug. 30 through Friday, Sept. 3.  On Friday through Monday of Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4 - 6), the Water Park will open at 10 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

The Killens Pond Water Park food concession will be closed on weekdays from Monday, Aug. 23 through Friday, Sept. 3.  It will be open the weekends of Aug. 28 – 29 and Sept. 4 – 6.  The Swim Shop, which carries all swimming necessities, will be open on days that the Water Park is open.  The Water Park will close for the season after Monday, Sept. 6.

Times are available for groups through Aug. 19 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.  More information about Water Park hours and group times is available at 302-284-3311 or www.destatparks.com.
