Killens Pond State Park Announces Third Annual Fall Festival

FELTON, Del. - The Third Annual Killens Pond Fall Festival will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the park on Killens Pond Road in Felton.  Activities for the day include hayrides, visits to the pumpkin patch, inflatables, food and drink, arts and crafts, live performances, a petting zoo, a straw maze, demonstrations and much more. 

The Fall Festival is a fun day of festivities and celebration of the autumn season perfect for the entire family. Admission to the festival is $3 per person for residents and non-residents, and includes the park entrance fee. The public is invited to call 302-284-4299 or visit www.destateparks.com for more information. 

Killens Pond State Park is centrally located in the heart of Kent County, Delaware. The park’s centerpiece is the 66-acre millpond which features boating and fishing. Only about a 1½ hour drive from either the northern or southern boundary, Killens Pond makes a perfect home base for exploring the First State. Open year-round, the park's campground and cozy cabins are popular retreats no matter what the season.
