Killens Pond State Park invites the public to spend a fun, yummy afternoon kayaking the pond
FELTON – The staff at Killens Pond State Park will start the summer off on a delicious note with a special kayak program, Ice Cream Sunday, at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 13. Participants will enjoy an ice cream “treasure hunt” as they paddle along the pond and create an upside down sundae.
Reservations are required for the program, and may be made by calling 302-284-4299. The $18 per person fee includes kayak trip and ice cream. The Killens Pond Water Park is open on that day from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., and picnic areas are open until sunset, so families and individuals can visit the park for a day filled with fun.
