Laurel man faces nine charges of hunting, weapons violations
SEAFORD (Jan. 21, 2011) – Following an investigation, DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents on Jan. 13 arrested a Laurel man on weapons and hunting charges.
Richard L. O’Neal, age 24, of Laurel, was arrested near Seaford and charged with two felony counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, transporting an illegally taken antlered deer, failing to tag an antlered deer, hunting without a license, butchering an antlered deer prior to registration, failing to register an antlered deer, failing to attach tag to an antlered deer and failing to retain tag on an antlered deer. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court No. 3 in Georgetown and released on $1,700 unsecured bond pending trial in Superior Court.
