Learn how to conduct your own Paranormal Investigation
DELAWARE CITY (July 13, 2011) – Learn all you need to know to conduct your own paranormal investigation as Fort Delaware State Park presents Paranormal Institute on Saturday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the park on Pea Patch Island in the Delaware River. Participants will attend classroom sessions on how to conduct a paranormal investigation, collect evidence, use specialized equipment and review findings. At the conclusion of the classroom sessions, participants will have the opportunity to put their new-found skills to work during an actual investigation. Attendees should bring whatever ghost hunting equipment and flashlights they may have.
The program is open to visitors age 16 and older. Access to Fort Delaware is by ferry only. The ferry departs Delaware City promptly at 6:30 p.m. Participants should arrive 30 minutes prior to boat departure for check-in at the Fort Delaware dock at 45 Clinton Street, and are cautioned to dress for the weather as this is a “rain or shine” program. Open-toe shoes are not allowed; bug spray is recommended.
