Lums Pond State Park Taking Registrations for Summer Camps
BEAR, Del. - With summer just around the corner, the staff at Lums Pond State Park reminds parents to register their children for the exciting summer camps offered at the park. With camps designed for children 6 to 13, and special half-day camps for children 4 to 6, the park has something fun for everyone.
Activities include fishing and canoeing in the pond; crafts and nature activities in the nature center; and mountain biking and hiking, outdoor survival, and horseback riding in beautiful Lums Pond State Park.
Children will meet new friends and get outdoors to learn all about the natural world around them. To ensure the maximum enjoyment for every child, camps sizes are small, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
For more information or to obtain a registration packet, visit www.destateparks.com, or call the park office at 302-368-6989.
