Milford man arrested on drug charges, multiple traffic violations

MILFORD (March 30, 2011) – DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents on March 29 arrested a Milford man on drug charges and other violations during an incident near Haven Lake in Milford.

Shanun T. Handy, age 26, of Milford, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to deliver, maintaining a vehicle with intent to deliver, reckless endangering, resisting arrest, failure to stop on command, violation of probation and multiple traffic charges. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court No. 7 in Dover and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna in lieu of $41,000 secured bond.
