Milford man arrested on hunting, weapons charges

MILFORD (March 30, 2011) – DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents on March 29 arrested a Milford man on charges related to hunting and weapons violations.

Danny W. Messick Jr., age 23, of Milford, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of unlawfully taken game and transporting an unlawfully taken deer. A shotgun was seized as evidence. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court No. 6 in Harrington and released on $2,200 unsecured bond pending trial at a later date.
